As we roll into the back half of 2025 it’s an awesome thought that we are closer to the year 2050 now than we are to the year 2000. Time is marching on like the rhythmic back beat of the soundtrack to our lives and that’s why music is more important now than ever.
As a world, we have political divides, religious differences and at times geographic and cultural distances between us. But put us at a concert in a football stadium and we all have our hands up singing the same song in unison, forgetting all of the above. Singing as one voice. Music unites. It impacts. It transcends. And that’s what Stonebridge Entertainment wants to shine a spotlight on as we walk through the back half of this year and into the future that follows.
So, to the start-up artists that are struggling to find their way. To the long-time road warriors who found their sound long ago. To the gate keepers that play the songs or the loyal listeners that do the radio requesting or might be building your own playlists to stream right now. We see you. We hear you. We know you. Because we are you. Kindred souls who love making and breaking music in any way we can that will make a difference in the ability to create and reshape musical culture for generations to come.
Our staff is represented by the indie artist just trying to get heard some way, somewhere. By the ex-music executive that had enough of the “old way” of doing things that keep artists down and wants to free the artists process and their music. By the bands that have had success and want to pay it forward by passing on knowledge and industry wisdom. And yes, by the fans of music who recognize that without it we’d all be a few beats shy of a balanced world.
So please, join us. Join us in our quest to make it easier on the artists of the world by informing them and equipping them with as much good direction as possible. Join us in supporting new internet radio stations that provide a platform where otherwise unplayed artists can have a home for their songs. Join us in the building of alternative chart systems and creating new content that sheds light on under exposed musical talent. We need your help and participation!
