Biography:
Michael Tipton & the Scoundrels don’t waste time with a gig that doesn’t bring a good time. They’ve done it too long to understand the crowd won’t have a good time if they don’t. So they choose their shows carefully based off of a mixture of how they can present their music and the environment surrounding how it’s received. It doesn’t matter if it’s a bar or amphitheater or a backyard…the vibe is just as important as important as the location.
Ask front man and band founder and leader Michael Tipton why things like this matter to him and he will answer you straight as an arrow, “I feel like my/our music is more important than just me. I have a desire to encourage and be as inclusive as possible to as many musicians as I can… so with that being the goal then the energy we approach shows or studio work with has to be intentional”.
And we would have to say intentional is a great word to describe Michael Tipton as a musician and artist. When you talk to him privately about songwriting, his opinions are very Respectful but clear. He has a way he likes to approach music and perhaps it’s that direction of musical spirit that makes him such an intriguing artists to talk to. And even more so someone who has crafted his true self into the craft of songwriting and performing.
Given time we have no doubt that fans will continue to be turned toward and turned on to Tiptons music as well as his bands and we predict the landscape will blossom as the numbers grow in the fertile soil of his talents and purpose.

Career Highlights: Tipton has had his songs appear as a songwriter in multiple tv shows and films from the discovery channel to Keeping up with the Kardashians.
